D.I.T.C. - Unreleased Production 1994 D.I.T.C. - Unreleased Production 1994

Back in 1994, Hip Hop icons the D.I.T.C. (Diggin' In The Crates) crew, which features Rap heavyweights Fat Joe, Big L, O.C., Diamond D, Showbiz & A.G., Lord Finesse and Buck Wild, went into NYC's Chung King Studio to make an album. Using their established brand and trademark sound, they decided to shine some light on up and comers 40 oz, Armageddon, Terror Tongue, Amed, Silky Black, Page, Silky Black and Ghetto Dwellars and backed them with the production of Show, Diamond D, Buck Wild and Lord Finesse. Unfortunately, due to the usual industry red tape, the album was shelved... until now. Show himself has gone deep into the D.I.T.C. vaults and unearthed the 11 original tracks along with a remix of "Big Apple Gone Rotten" featuring Fat Joe. Unreleased Production 1994 is vintage D.I.T.C. sound: dusty, dark loops with neck snapping drums and deep booming bass. This album was defiantly forward-thinking for 1994 with the Diggin' In The Crates delegates showcasing more of the Quincy Jones soundtrack sound than the traditional early 90s uptempo, familiar break beat sound. With Unreleased Production 1994 finally being released to the masses in 2008, be ready for more coming from the D.I.T.C. family including a new studio album and a Show & AG project.

Dom Pachino - Power Rulez Dom Pachino - Power Rulez

Though he is still young in years, Dom Pachino aka P.R. Terrorist is a veteran in the rap game, getting his start as a featured member of the Wu-Tang supergroup Killarmy, which released three classic albums which collectively sold over a half million records. He has also been featured on The Swarm compilation (Gold), RZA as Bobby Digital (Gold), and Wu-Tang Forever (Platinum). As the first major Latin rapper ever to emerge from Staten Island, Dom P has always stayed busy; whether touring internationally, or appearing in TV or movies, he has released a slew of independent mixtapes, DVD's and albums through his Napalm Recordings Empire that have helped him to galvanize his own following. Here however, for the first time ever, Chambermusik Records is proud to present his first officially distributed album, Power Rulez. On this excursion he stays true to both the underground rap and Wu-Tang market, with tracks handled by the great Falling Down, Dub Sonata, and others. Featured are Islord (Killarmy), 9th Prince (Killarmy) Shyheim (Wu-Tang), Crunch Lo (Othorized Fam), and others.

Dr. Dooom (Kool Keith) - Dr. Dooom 2 Dr. Dooom (Kool Keith) - Dr. Dooom 2

After single-handedly redefining "warped" as the mind and mouth behind the Bronx-based Ultramagnetic MC's, "Kool" Keith Thornton, aka Rhythm X, aka Dr. Octagon, aka Dr. Dooom, headed for the outer reaches of the stratosphere with a variety of solo projects. A onetime psychiatric patient at Bellevue, Keith's lyrical thematics remained as free-flowing here as they ever were with the N.Y. trio, connecting up complex meters with fierce, layers-deep metaphors and veiled criticisms of those who "water down the sound that comes from the ghetto." 2008 will see the return of Dr Dooom, produced by KutMasta Kurt. This album will be huge! One of the more underrated producers and DJs in the West Coast underground, KutMasta Kurt initially made his name working with Kool Keith, during which time he first donned his trademark Mexican wrestling mask. Kurt began DJing in the Bay Area. As his reputation grew, local MCs began to approach him about producing tracks. Kurt bought some basic studio equipment and taught himself to use it. After a few remixes for the likes of Tim Dog, Buju Banton and Mic Geronimo, Kurt's friendship with the groundbreaking, underappreciated Ultramagnetic MC's paid off when, in 1994, ex-leader Kool Keith tapped Kurt to handle DJ and production duties for his new solo career. Kurt produced a couple of tracks on Keith's landmark Dr. Octagon album, but their first full project together was 1997's "Sex Style", the first album released under Keith's own name. Kurt also helmed Keith's album as Dr. Dooom, 1999's "First Come, First Served", and 2000's "Matthew." By the time "Matthew" was released, Kurt had begun to build his own career apart from Keith. He provided remixes for the likes of the Beastie Boys, Planet Asia, Rasco, Luscious Jackson and Blackalicious, among others. He also formed his own label, Threshold, and in 2000 released the full-length album "KutMasta Kurt Presents: Masters of Illusion", a collaborative project that featured Kool Keith and underground MC Motion Man. Skip ahead to 2008 and the Dr. Dooom comeback. The album is titled "Dr. Dooom 2" and it's the type of release that everybody will be talking about.

eMC - The Show eMC - The Show
The Hip Hop world has long been looking for a breath of fresh air and four legendary emcees are about to step up together, as EMC. EMC is a brand new super group consisting of the Midwest's phenom Stricklin, the widely respected Lyricist Lounge duo Punchline & Wordsworth, and the Brooklyn-bred, battle-tested Juice Crew member Masta Ace. After having extensively toured together in 2001, the four became extremely close and both they and their fans recognized their chemistry. The Milwaukee born and raised Stricklin garnered attention in the late 90's while he was signed to Tommy Boy Records and Punch and Words were integral in the success of the groundbreaking MTV program "The Lyricist Lounge Show" and have released EP's both as a group and as solo artists. All three rhymesayers caught the ear of Masta Ace before touring together and all three were featured on his two most recent albums. "The group idea was a natural progression of the relationships we all made from being on the road together", says Ace. "It's not just about the music with us, we are pretty much like brothers." EMC started a feeding frenzy in 2007 with the release of the 12" single "E.M.C." and now they are ready to finally drop their full-length album The Show. With more than 20 tracks and appearances by Sean Price, Little Brother, Ladybug Mecca (of Digable Planets), and Money Harm (of Product G & B), The Show is going to satisfy even the most Rap-hungry fan. And while the album proves to be a showcase of lyrical talents, the tracks themselves guarantee to bang with production by The Are, Ayatollah, Nicolay, Koolade, Quincy Tones, Frequency, and J. With the combination Stricklin's personality, the cleverness of Punchline and the word play and work ethic of Wordsworth, and the leadership of the Music Man himself Masta Ace, EMC is ready make some noise in the music industry. "EMC is a movement and Hip Hop should get ready for something really special", says Stricklin. "It's about to be a problem!"
