	Dr. Dooom (Kool Keith) - Dr. Dooom 2 After single-handedly redefining "warped" as the mind and mouth behind the Bronx-based Ultramagnetic MC's, "Kool" Keith Thornton, aka Rhythm X, aka Dr. Octagon, aka Dr. Dooom, headed for the outer reaches of the stratosphere with a variety of solo projects. A onetime psychiatric patient at Bellevue, Keith's lyrical thematics remained as free-flowing here as they ever were with the N.Y. trio, connecting up complex meters with fierce, layers-deep metaphors and veiled criticisms of those who "water down the sound that comes from the ghetto." 2008 will see the return of Dr Dooom, produced by KutMasta Kurt. This album will be huge! One of the more underrated producers and DJs in the West Coast underground, KutMasta Kurt initially made his name working with Kool Keith, during which time he first donned his trademark Mexican wrestling mask. Kurt began DJing in the Bay Area. As his reputation grew, local MCs began to approach him about producing tracks. Kurt bought some basic studio equipment and taught himself to use it. After a few remixes for the likes of Tim Dog, Buju Banton and Mic Geronimo, Kurt's friendship with the groundbreaking, underappreciated Ultramagnetic MC's paid off when, in 1994, ex-leader Kool Keith tapped Kurt to handle DJ and production duties for his new solo career. Kurt produced a couple of tracks on Keith's landmark Dr. Octagon album, but their first full project together was 1997's "Sex Style", the first album released under Keith's own name. Kurt also helmed Keith's album as Dr. Dooom, 1999's "First Come, First Served", and 2000's "Matthew." By the time "Matthew" was released, Kurt had begun to build his own career apart from Keith. He provided remixes for the likes of the Beastie Boys, Planet Asia, Rasco, Luscious Jackson and Blackalicious, among others. He also formed his own label, Threshold, and in 2000 released the full-length album "KutMasta Kurt Presents: Masters of Illusion", a collaborative project that featured Kool Keith and underground MC Motion Man. Skip ahead to 2008 and the Dr. Dooom comeback. The album is titled "Dr. Dooom 2" and it's the type of release that everybody will be talking about. PRICE: $13.99
	Dungeon Masta - Wishful Thinking The long-awaited follow up to Project Obvlivion, Dungeon strikes back harder than ever with this super-creative, all gloves off, Hip-Hop Extravaganza featuring his two groups, the Morbid Society and presenting da Dirty Clanzmen. 	Endemic - No Cure mixtape Endemic presents No Cure Mixtape vol. 1 which previews his debut LP "Terminal Illness". The album is coming on No Cure Records (UK & Europe) & EMI Records (USA & Canada). Endemic has earned production features on indie LP's from both sides of the Atlantic, also producing a number of tracks on J-Ronin's All Elements mixtape series in NYC. 	Falling Down - The Order of Battle Producer Falling Down has done tracks for Killarmy, Inspectah Deck, Lil' Flip, Cuban Link and many others. He is known for a gritty sound and innovative blending of samples with original music that creates a style all his own. On this exclusively produced compilation album for Chambermusik Special Products, he brings forth a new artist, Jek Ya Pops, as well as the popular Elijah (Untouchable Soldiers). 	Fes Taylor - The Legend of Taylor It's official, Fes Taylor never sleeps. After releasing two mix-CD's in October, Fes is back with an Internet album titled Legend of Taylor. Released under Inspectah Deck's Urban Iconz Records and Two 4 War Entertainement, the album features the Rebel INS himself, Shyheim, Mr. Prezident, T-Bird, The Warriors and more. Productions is handled by Falling Down, Flip, Fantom of the Beat, Heart of the City, Granddaddy I.U. and others. 	Ghetto Philharmonic - The Live Breaks As early as 1992, the true innovators of the Hip-Hop Jazz movement, Ghetto Philharmonic stayed busy promoting their sound and making the rounds on various NYC area college radio shows, where they were often asked to display their instrumental skills on the spot. with G-Clef da Mad Komposa on alto saxophone and Sledge on trumpet, what resulted was often one hellafied, cutting egde spontaneous jam session that shook the music scene to its very rafters. This album serves as further documentation of the fact that Ghetto Philharmonic was already breaking new ground in music in 1992-3, even before their full album release in 1994. DJs spinning along include such legends as DJ Slynke, DJ Riz, and even DJ Spinbad himself, who was then a member of the group.
