Infamous - Pressure
Infamous - Pressure
G-Clef has finally released the final installment from the "Soul Kid Vault"; the music of Infamous Mr. Savage aka Doc Dave Banner. The battle-styled emcee was first heard on Mortal Combat, the SKK's first commercially released 12 single. He was the first emcee on the record who set it off with "Who be dat ill nigga creeping thru the jungle?" This EP's contents include various demos and songs recorded while the Klik was involved with GZA Entertainment, in the Golden Era of the Wu-Tang Clan circa 1996. Several of these beats were solicited for GZA's Liquid Swords LP, but were replaced by beats by the RZA, forming the classic album that the world now remembers as history. Perhaps history worked out for the best, as these songs are blessed by Infamous' incredible lyrical stylings throughout this EP, perhaps to show and prove G-Clef had not lost any ground giving these beats to Infamous instead! Infamous told G-Clef in 1996, "Fuck it, I will tear them shits apart!" And so, now, after all these years, we can finally hear him do it with the "Pressure". Included on this record is the "Desperate Times" B-Side tribute to Notorious B.I.G. by Infamous called "Ten Mack Commandments".

Infamous Mobb - Blood Thicker Than Water
Infamous Mobb - Blood Thicker Than Water
Infamous Mobb's second album "Blood Thicker Than Water, Vol 1" brings more of the hungry street tracks we've come to know on Special Edition. The album starts out hot with the blazing tracks; "Greenbacks" and "Empty Out (Reload)". The Mobb continues to bring raw street hop throughout the CD. The Bonus DVD includes interviews with the members who unravel some of their memorable experiences & memories growing up in the hood. For years Mobb Deep were uncontestedly the illest crew in QB but 2004 will forever be remembered as the year they got overshadowed by the Infamous Mobb.

Inspectah Deck presents: Fes Taylor - Flight 10304 (T-2 Fly)
Inspectah Deck presents: Fes Taylor - Flight 10304 (T-2 Fly)
Fes Taylor has achieved what many artists only dream of: respect from all the generations of Hip-Hop. Earlier in his career, he was known as Profes, and was a member of King Just's Shaolin Soldiers, the first group to ever perform at Hot 97's Summer Jam. He enjoyed a burgeoning solo career, but never quite got off the ground.
Later, however, Wu-Tang Clan member Inspectah Deck asked him to join his elite crew, the Housegang Animalz, who then released just one classic mixtape. The crew was splintered and redisbursed among several other Wu-Affiliated groups, but Fes stayed loyal to Deck, becoming the lyrical master's own personal protege, as well as a great stylist and lyricist in his own right.
A member of the two-man crew, the Heart Foundation, Fes now found himself a G-Unit affiliate as well, possibly the only man able to walk comfortably in both circles! Always garnering his own respect and fans in the process, Fes has tirelessly released underground street albums, DVD's and mixtapes. The only thing eluding him now would be an official retail solo album, Flight 10304 (T-2 Fly). Wu-Tang legend Inspectah Deck cosigns Fes Taylor for this, his first ever solo excursion into Hip-Hop history. Appearing with Fes, are, of course Deck, Shyheim (Wu-Tang), Lot-A-Nerv, Mr. Prezident (Heart Foundation/G-Unit), and many others. Producers include Chad Beats, Falling Down, G-Clef da Mad Komposa, Flip, Blastah Beatz, and others.
