Classified Recordings LLC teams up with KONG aka KONGCRETE from The Monsta Island Czars to release his long awaited debut LP, the aptly-titled "Shackles Off".
The album features cinematic production courtesy of fellow Monsta Island Czars MeccaGodZilla & Gabarah (junclassic) in addition to a guest appearance from dub-L & MF GRIMM. Lyrical devastation can be pinned Kongs peers including Ikon, 5th Element, along with M.I.C.'s Spiega, Megalon, MeccaGodZilla, Monsta X, & Gabarah.
A highlight to note is the intro laced by Portugal's Blastah Beatz, shortly followed by the highly energized, dancehall style anthem titled Babylon 5 (featuring 5th Element, Megalon & Spiega of M.I.C).
Kong's character arguably made him a fan favorite as he displayed his lyrical skills on songs "1,2,1,2" and "Make It Squash," both of which were produced by Metal Fingers (MF DOOM). The success of both the DOOM and M.I.C albums landed Kong opportunities to shine on projects with Backwoodz Studioz (THE CHALICE and THE REAVERS albums) and SOUND INK (CX Kidtronik, 'DJ for Saul Williams' album, KRAK ATTACK).
