Previously thought to be a re-release of his shelved late 90's Jive album, Maximum Strength 2008 actually contains all new material, and comes just months after KRS One's Adventures in Emceein'. Said release contained previously recorded material with no clear placement for a release, while this newer project, still not actually being called an official album, is still in keeping with more recent material such as Hip Hop Lives with Marly Marl. From battle to political, Kris is always on top of his lyrical game, and his wisdom is still relevant and widely respected in today's hip hop scene, even if the masses don't know what they are missing.
