Under the auspices of Wu-Tang Clan member Cappadonna, this group of Staten Islanders garnered a strong following from just a couple of 12-inch singles released in the late 1990's, but fans are still clamouring to hear the full album! Produced by 140 Productions, featuring Lounge Lo, Shawn Wigs, Crunch Lo, and Molly Q. Members of Othorized Fam went on to become members of other groups such as Ghostface Killah’s "Theodore Unit". Ghost is actually one of the many guests appearing on the album. Famous Shaolin Island MC's like Cappadonna, King Just, Fes Taylor, Polite and Leathafase can also be heard spitting lyrical darts. Considered by many an album that truly embodies the Staten Island sound, the 1st Amendment is an ever lasting classic that is still relevant even if the very few lucky listeners heard it first almost six years ago.
